Upper Division Softball - AA/AAA/Majors
- All players league age 10 and up will need to attend a skill evaluation prior to team assignment.
- Player evaluations dates January/February
- Season dates: March 1 through May 22.
- When games begin, practice may be one day a week depending on field availability.

Minors Player Pitch - AA Softball Ages 7-10
- AA Softball players will pitch from 35 feet with an 11-inch softball.
- Practice and Games are 1 hour & 30 minutes each.
- Practices are 2 days a week. Starting at 5:00pm.
- Game times are 5:00pm at various Little League Parks around Tucson.
Minors Player Pitch AAA Softball** Ages 9-11
- AAA Softball players will pitch from 35 feet with an 11-inch softball.
- Games are played with different leagues at different Little League parks around Tucson.
- All AAA players must attend a player evaluation* to be drafted** onto a team.
- End of season tournament dates may be played
- Practice and Games are 2 hours each.
- Practices are 2 days a week. Starting at 7:30pm.
- Game times are 7:30pm at various Little League Parks around Tucson.
.Majors Little league Softball** Ages 10-12
- Majors Softball players pitch from 40 feet using a 12” ball
- Majors teams may participate in two tournaments, Mid-Season Classic and End of Season Tournament.
- Games are played with different leagues at different Little League parks around Tucson.
- All Majors players must attend a Player Evaluation* to be drafted** onto a team.
- Practice and Games are 2 hours each.
- Practices are 2 days a week. Starting at 7:30pm. (Practice schedule will be set up by each coach)
- When games begin, practice may be one day a week depending on field availability.
- Game times are 7:30pm at various Little League Parks around Tucson.
** AAA and Majors teams are chosen by draft. Evaluations are required for players interested in playing in these divisions. Numbers of teams and players for each division will be determined based on number of players, coaches and ages of players. Not making a division can sometimes be a logistics issue and not skill level issue.
All-Star Tournament Information
- All players will be eligible for All-Star Tournament team selection if they have played a minimum of 8 regular season games
- All-Star evaluations dates may be towards the end of the season
- District 5 All-Star Tournament Dates Are mid to late June
- All-Star Managers and teams are chosen by the Thornydale Little League Tournament Selection Committee.
